EVENTS FOR 2008

April 5-6 April Fools Wine Festival – a Heart of Virginia event at James River Cellars in Ashland, VA. Four wineries, live music. craft vendors, B&B Seafood, and live music. Picnics welcome as well. Rain or shine, 11-5. $12 advance; $15 day of event.

May 24-25 Lucy’s Weekend – Lucy’s Weekend – Cooper Vineyards annual benefit for the Richmond SPCA. Live music, pesto tasting and pet–lovers wineglass. Adopt a pet - the SPCA Tail Wagon will be on site all weekend. $15 adv, $20 day of event.

June 21 Summer Solstice Wine Festival – 4 wineries, craft vendors, live music. Again held at James River Cellars in Ashland, VA. $12 adv, $17 at door. Food available for purchase, picnics also welcome.

August 2 Beach Blast at Lake Anna Winery – Beach Blast at Lake Anna Winery – a Heart of Virginia event. Wear your wildest Hawaiian shirt and flip flops and enjoy live music from 5 – 10 pm with 4 wineries. $12 advance, $15 day of event. Food available for sale, picnics welcome.

August 23 5th Annual mini-Cooper Rally – for wine-lovers and mini-lovers alike: drive your mini if you have one. Fee includes souvenir mini-glasses, food, mini goodie bag and live music. Richmond Crown Mini will be on-site with 2008 vehicles for viewing and for sale. Sat 11-5, $10 advance, $15 day of event.

November 1-2 Heart of VirginiaWine Trail Harvest Passport Weekend
11 – 5 Sat & Sun - $10.00pp. Tour 4 wineries.

November 15-16 Holiday Open House at Cooper Vineyards – Sat & Sun 11-5.
Stock up for the holidays with wine and gifts. Light fare. No fee.

December 6-7 Heart of Virginia Jingle Bell Wine Trail - 11 – 5 Sat & Sun - $10.00pp. Tour 4 wineries

December 13-14 Holiday Open House at Cooper Vineyards – Sat & Sun 11-5.
